Our pageant was established in 2005 with the help of then Angel
House’s resident counselor, my grandmother Joyce Nottingham, who saw firsthand
how beneficial pageants were to me. We had the vision to give these new queens opportunities to make a difference in their
community.
Community service is so important to our organization that we crown
two titles, a Miss Angel Ambassador and a Miss Angel Queen of Queens. Both are from whomever has done the most community service as a contestant and as a reigning queen!
Our contestants compete in photogenic, interview, casual
wear, and pageant dress. This is for the judges to be able to pick a well rounded
queen that is able to come on the news, meet the governor, and take on many
appearances.
We have an age division for all ages to compete!
